Open End Awning

Using your awning rod switch the lever to the open position.

Open end awning.

Push the travel lock on the side of the arm up to unlock the arm and rafter. Classic 16oz bright copper 1 standing seam roof with sturdy tubular aluminum frame fabricated to your custom dimensions. Hanging hardware is included. Some models require you to twist the awning rod in order to extend the fabric.

Step 2 pull the safety lock lever on the end of the roller tube forward with the hook of an awning rod to place it in the roll down position. Includes base flashing flange at top to install under siding or stucco. Switch the ratchet mechanism to the roll down position. All rvs that come with an awning will come with an awning rod as well.

Step 3 hook the awning rod into the strap loop. The ratchet mechanism is essentially a directional lever located on the end of the awning closest to the front of the rv. Turn the adjustment lock knob on the back of the awning arm counterclockwise to loosen it. Pull the awning down as you walk backward.
