Insert a pry bar between the piece of siding from which you want to remove the nails and the one above it.

Start by lifting an overlapped piece of vinyl on the top row.
Push the siding downward to remove it from the piece below it.
Use a pry bar to remove the damaged siding.
Place the palms of your hands on the siding and apply downward pressure until the piece pops free.
